The purpose of the Museum is to commemorate all the heroes of the Victory, regardless of rank, scale of feat, status of award, military-patriotic education and inspiration through the military exploits of fathers, and the creation of a factual basis for countering attempts to falsify the history of the war.
About the Museum
Time is powerless before the memory of the generation, which protected the freedom of our country. In the history of humanity, there was no other war like the Great Patriotic War, same as no other Great Victory, which set out people, our country, and the whole humanity free.
The Great Patriotic War of the Soviet people was the most important turning point in the global history. The interest in events of the Great Patriotic War does not fade with time. Military specialists, economists, diplomats, historians, scientists, and art workers study it. Works of science, literature and art dedicated to this war are created annually reflecting new pages of that great battle.
The activities of the Museum are aimed at saving, studying, and propaganda of documentary and material evidence of the exploit and sacrifice of the Belarussian people in the years of war in the name of peace on Earth.
