Liberation of Belarus. The defeat of fascist Germany, its allies and militaristic Japan

In 1944-1945 the Great Patriotic War entered its final phase. The Red Army troops completely expelled the invaders from the Soviet Union and transferred military operations to the territory of Central and Southeastern Europe, liberated the peoples of Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Czechoslovakia, played a decisive role in the defeat of Nazi Germany and the Japanese Kwantung Army in the Far East. The long and intense struggle of the Soviet Union and the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition ended victoriously with the signing of the Act of Unconditional Surrender of Germany on May 8, 1945 and the Act of Unconditional Surrender of Japan on September 2, 1945.
